We unify around six words: legacy. preservation. unity. inspiration. impact. excitement. Each community documents their own chapter — telling their story from the inside out.
Catherine is a traveler, founder, and writer who has spent her career getting to know Jewish communities around the world — from New York to Kenya, India to Peru, Israel and back again. She has spent more than eight years working inside the world of Jewish nonprofits, most recently as founder of Selah, a movement for Jewish wellbeing that has worked with over 6,000 participants across the globe.
Catherine was in Israel on October 7th — an experience that reshaped how she thinks about Jewish peoplehood, and pulled her closer to her own Judaism. Jews Of grew directly out of that reckoning: a belief that the stories connecting Jewish communities are more powerful, and more urgent to preserve, than the lines that are so often drawn between them.
She holds a degree from NYU's School of Global Studies, studied across the Manhattan, Tel Aviv, and Abu Dhabi campuses, and an MA in Jewish Education and Entrepreneurship from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is a published author in the opinion section of The Times of Israel, and speaks as a keynote speaker for Jewish organizations around the world.
